GARDEN PARTY

After a number of false starts caused by pandemics and accidents, Mike and Dot Millward managed at last to hold a garden party in June. The event was only slightly marred by a torrential thunder storm which held off for almost an hour to allow members to see the garden. £200 was raised.

William Caxton’s The Mirror of the World

The Mirror of the World is one of three books printed by William Caxton amongst the early printed books in the Hart Collection at Blackburn Museum. Caxton was remarkable.
