John Turkington's 49th and penultimate Lockdown Lecture will take place on Thursday 15th April at 2pm. The subject this week is the great American landscape photographer Ansel Adams.

Forthcoming Events/Actitivites

PLEASE NOTE:  OWING TO THE PANDEMIC,THERE WILL BE NO FRIENDS' MEETINGS AT THE MUSEUM UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE. THE AGM HAS BEEN POSTPONED.

The complete published programme for the current season has been postponed and there will be no Friends meetings at the Museum & Art Gallery until the Autumn.

The Museum plans to reopen on Wednesday 19th May, assuming that current Government plans do not change.

The Friends' programme for the 2021/22 season is now being prepared. In respomse to a request by the Museum staff, meetings next season will be held on the second Tuesday of the month at 2pm in the Museum. The first meeting will be on 12th October.

 A talk by a member of the Museum & Art Gallery staff.

PLEASE NOTE: Owing to the Covid emergency this lecture cannot take place as planned and has been postponed until a future date.

A new programme of events will be published later in 2021, before the start of the 2021-22 season.
